This book examines memories of family and friends through
anecdotes and photographs of their clothes, which the author
has inherited and worn. The beautifully shot pictures
of the garments and shoes take the reader on a journey
through time from their first owners to the photographer Ida
Taavitsainen, who wears them now. As she says, she did
not meet her great grandmother, but wearing her clothes she
knows her size and feels close to her wearing something that
touched her skin. This is a visual history and a family album
without people in it, from a new young talent.
