Tokyo Adorned

A celebration of Tokyo and its thriving fashion subculture, this book takes its subjects off the city streets to focus on the personalities behind the clothing and capturing the magnetic culture of the city’s fashion tribes. Included are Kumamiki — the vision behind the Party Baby movement and clothing brand — who has a global online following, as well as personalities such as Chocomelo, Saki Kurumi, and Haruka Kureybayashi. With an introduction by Simon Doonan, author and Barneys Fashion Ambassador and other contributions from Samantha Boardman, author and psychiatrist and Buzz Spector artist and critical writer and Dean of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University. Thomas C Card is a New Yorkbased photographer and director who has worked with Gucci, Barneys New York, Ferragamo and Versace and has contributed to Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and the New York Times Magazine.
