Born in 1968, Itzhak Benyamini, publisher and executive editor, together with Idan Zivoni, of Resling Publishing, writes on the relationship holding between theology, culture and psychoanalysis. A doctoral candidate with the Cohen Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas, Tel Aviv University, he also lectures at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and at Tel Aviv University. Benyamini has co-edited, with Idan Zivoni, the collection of essays, Slave, Enjoyment, Master (Resling, 2002), and published a collection of poems – Getting Off at Melchett, Getting Off at St. John's Passion (Gvanim, 1998) and the book What Does the Man Want? (Resling, 2003).
