Dr. Dror K. Levi is a lecturer and scholar in semiotics, aesthetics and critical theory. He served as a visiting scholar in Amsterdam University (1992/4), and completed his post-doctorate in Cambridge University, UK (1995/7). He has taught at the Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Sciences and Ideas, Tel Aviv University. He currently teaches at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. He serves as a scientific editor and editor of a translation series on Architecture and Spatial Culture for Resling Publishing House; and as a member of Block Magazine's academic board. His books on the Dutch cultural historian Johan Huizinga -- Johan Huizinga: His Life and Work. An Intellectual and Critical Biography – and on The Critique of Cultural Semiotics are forthcoming.
