Dani Filc, MD, PhD. Born in Argentina 1959. Arrived to Israel in 1984. Senior Lecturer at the Department of Politics and Government, Ben Gurion University. Chairperson of Physicians for Human Rights and Board Member at Adva Center. He published the books The Power of Property: Israel in the Globalization Age, edited with Uri Ram (Van Leer Institute Heb.), Hegemony and Populism in Israel (Resling, Hebrew), Circles of Exclusion: The Politics of Health Care in Israel (Cornell University Press) and The Political Right in Israel (Routledge, forthcoming December 2009). Dani Filc teaches a course on Comics, politics and ideology.
