Efrat Biberman is a senior lecturer in Hamidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl College. Her main fields of research are philosophy and theory of art, fields which she explores mainly through the psychoanalytic thought of Freud and Lacan. Efrat Biberman has published various articles dealing with narrativity, concepts of gaze, self-portraiture and others. Her book, Visual Text(a)iles: Narrative and Gaze in Painting, was published by Bar-Ilan University Press.
