Michal Popowsky is the author of articles on Culture, Visual Studies, Art and Education, “Document and Identity” (book), “Into Reading”-(first Israeli digital English Reader for the acquisition of English as a second language), “The Computerized Hebrew Reader” -(first Israeli digital Hebrew Reader for the acquisition of Hebrew –first language Reading Skills). Her PhD in textual semiotics was presented in Paris at Nanterre University in 1981. She has been working in the field of Design since 1999 and has published “Design as a Polysystemic Field”, lectured on design in Israel and abroad and produced 5 short documentary films on Israeli designers. Popowsky is a senior lecturer at the M.Ed and B.Ed programs at the Seminar Hakibbutzim College and at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.
