Bilha Blum lectures at the Department of Theatre Studies and at the Inter-Disciplinary Program in the Arts at the Tel-Aviv University. Her main fields of research are modern theatre and drama, canonization processes and cultural transference. She published extensively on these subjects and is the author of a book on Israeli realizations of canonical plays titled Between Playwright and Director: A Dialogue. Currently her research and writing is mainly devoted to the analysis of modern drama from a philosophical perspective.
