Dr. Gal Ventura is a lecturer in the History and Theory Department in Bezalel Academy of Art, and in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She is an art historian, and deals mainly in 19th century art, the history of the family, maternity, breastfeeding, death and Christian iconography in modern and contemporary art.
