Dr. Dror Pimentel teaches at the History and Theory Dept. in Bezalel, Academy for Art and Design Jerusalem. He has devoted his Phd. thesis – written at the Philosophy Dept. of the Hebrew University – to the complex relations between Heidegger and Derrida. His Book "The Dream of Purity – Heidegger with Derrida" was published at Magnes Press in 2009. Among his main topics of interest are Ontology, Phenomenology, Aesthetics and Semiotics. So far, he also published two poetry volumes – "Flourish" and "Trough a Mouth Treasured in Earth". He also writes critical essays on topics in art, literature and philosophy in various stages.
